Naruto characters: Naruto - Welcome to this new tutorial of the Drawing Factory. This time we'll show you how to draw Naruto and paint Naruto using photoshop.
Take your time with the coloring is a difficult part of this drawing. Try to imagine which parts of the face for example need shadowing or highlighting and work your way slowly through your desired result.
Working with layers is very handy as you can focus on one part without worrying of messing with another. See how nicer he looks with a little bit of coloring done already?

Try and apply the same technique on the whole thing working one section at a time. Try to emphasize the shapes using shadows and highlights. See for example how I have done it with the nose and lower lip.

The same identical technique you can use for the plaque however because it is a metallic object highlights and shadows needs to be sharper. Use the same kind of brush setup as per before and create these oblique stripes of highlight increasing the brightness at each pass of the brush
Slowly build up brightness. When done work at the contour of the plate to give the illusion of third dimension.

Repeat the same process for the blue head-band to obtain the effect of cloth ripples and tension.
As you can see I have also added a little almost imperceptible shadow to the neck-guard.
