How to draw Wolverine. Now a tricky part, the claw-like patches wolverine has on the torso.
The secret to draw them correctly is, again, to follow the curvature of the body.

Draw as I have done three lines at approximately the same distance one from the other trying to follow the shape of the lower torso which, in this case, is bent backward.

Now use these lines as guidelines to position the claws! See how each claw follows the profile of a line and then goes back where the lower line is? Easy this way!

Another important element of the costume are the shoulder pads. These pieces of equipment aren't particularly fancy. Position them as best as you can trying to get the perspective right.

Let's move on the mask now. I would start drawing from the middle of the face. Sketch lightly where the eyes are going to be and use them as reference to position the nose. As you can see the shape of the mask is really simple.

A more tricky part is drawing the lateral sides of the mask. I reckon the best way of drawing them is starting from the nose and follow the curvature of the head than a sharp bend upward. Try to keep the two sides symmetrical and proportioned to the head.

Now that you have defined the shape of the mask add the eyes (intense and penetrating!) and a bit of angry expression. I have drawn an open mouth showing pointy teeth.

The last finishing touch to the costume are the "decorations" of the boots. Now, these particular"flaps" that wolverine has on the booth can be a nightmare to get right but if you have taken care of drawing the boots first as I showed at the beginning it should be much easier.
