How to draw Star Wars characters: C3-PO - Always wanted to draw C3PO from the Star Wars movies? This is your occasion to learn how.
C-3PO (phonetically spelled See-Threepio, and called Threepio for short) is a character from the Star Wars universe, who appears in both the original Star Wars films and the prequel trilogy.
Let's start adding the details of the exterior cover of the android. Obviously a reference picture will be necessary here if you want to be accurate in reproducing this character.
Let's start with the big concentric plate on the torso just below the pectoral masses.

Continue, sing the underneath skeleton as a reference to draw the detail of the armor for the arms.
Notice how I am just suggesting here the presence of the mechanical parts without being too detailed.

Proceed with the legs. Notice how the thighs taper toward the knees and that the knees themselves have a cylindrical shape.
